Tolerance training co-sponsored by the County Office of Education, where fifty teachers and community members heard from the California Department of Justice, "Not in Our Town", the Anti-Defamation League, Teaching Tolerance.

Our annual commemoration consists of a candlelight walk down Main Street in Placerville, followed by a program and free refreshments. Photos.

WHO WE ARE Formed in 1993 in Placerville, California, this human rights group is a non-profit organization unaffiliated with any religious or political group, and made up of volunteers. In response to some actions of hatred and bias in our county, a concerned group of residents joined together to support diversity and the rights of all to exist in a non-threatening, non-prejudicial community.
